Forty-one weeks into the 2nd season of the Individual Online Oware League, the number of participants increased by 2 toย 101 players from 31 known countries. We welcome alanyeray16 from Colombia ๐จ๐ด &ย complixvandh from Mexico ๐ฒ๐ฝ asย participants.
This week mrjohnson ๐ณ๐ฌ claimed the tournament title with a perfect 7.0 points. kongadji ๐ง๐ฏ placed 2nd with 6.0 points, losing a game to mrjohnson ๐ณ๐ฌ. In 3rd place is roberisco ๐ฌ๐ญ, with 5.0 points. losing a games to mrjohnson ๐ณ๐ฌ & kongadji ๐ง๐ฏ, completing the top three positions. serikaktayev ๐ฐ๐ฟ & e17 ๐ฐ๐ฟplaced 4th & 5th respectively. Congratulations to mrjohnson ๐ณ๐ฌ for winning the title & everyone else who participated ๐๐๐.
With this result the Oga Ota of Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ mrjohnson with 225.5 still leads by an increased 49.5 points ahead of the nearest contender abilohre with 176.0 points. With 11 tournaments to go in this 2nd season of the Individual league. It seems increasingly unlikely a contender will be able to challenge mrjohnson ๐ณ๐ฌ for the league title.
Do well to recruit other players to participate in these tournaments, from your countries in order to enhance your individual & nations scores. This will enable us to surpass last seasonโs tally of 112 players. With each week we are getting nearer to surpassing this record With 13 tournaments to go, we are 12 players away from breaking the 1st seasons 112 players record.
Please take note, the first three positioned players who are International or Full members of The Oware Society before the league ends, will be awarded cash prizes. Therefore If you place in the top 3, and wish to be considered for a cash award, join The Oware Society before the league ends. If donors & sponsorship can be acquired, and we are able to raise enough funds from member subscriptions we will put in place a prize fund for other categories: top placed, female, junior & continental players who have International, Full or Family membership.
