*The numbers in the brackets indicate the number of players that have represented each country.*
Last week’s edition of the practice tournament (nations league) saw 10 countries represented. Teams Uganda & Colombia 🇨🇴 fielded the most players, with 4 players each in attendance. Followed by the U.K. 🇬🇧 team represented by 3 players. Then by Team Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 & Nigeria 🇳🇬 represented by 2 players each. With 1 each from the remaining 4 countries: Belarus 🇧🇾, France 🇫🇷 and Germany 🇩🇪 and Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬.
This week there was no change in the nations league order. Some nations have been making gains on those immediately in front of them, however not enough to bypass them as evidenced by this weeks list.
With 19 editions to go till this season’s nations league end, it is looking increasingly unlikely that any country will be able to close the lead accumulated by Team Uganda 🇺🇬. Technically possible, but from past experience highly improbable. Uganda 🇺🇬 is also the leading nation when it comes to participation in national online championships.
So what can be attributed to Uganda’s 🇺🇬 success, that other countries can learn from and emulate. We welcome your opinions on this in the spirit of learning from each other.
