Once again only three out of the top ten players played last week. A result of the master players training with each other. Another reason being the entrance of two international championship players from Ghana 🇬🇭 akrugu & ayirungo into the ashanti room. As they ascended into the yellow zone they brought the ranking points of their opponents down, in some cases drastically.
aiyedunseun from Nigeria 🇳🇬, fell back again into the orange zone, and back into the 4th position of the all time list. grandmastert Antigua & Barbuda 🇦🇬 dropped out of the top 10 in the overall list, a victim of ayirungo’s ascent. Each lost game was between a 20 - 30 point deduction.
The giant of Afrika, Nigeria 🇳🇬 continues to dominate the top ten of active players ranking list, with 4 players occupying the top 4 positions. The two players from Ghana 🇬🇭, lordcity & roberisco still maintain their places in the active list. dsk from Benin 🇧🇯 & assino28 from whereabouts unknown maintained their positions in the top 10. e17 from Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 gained back his position in the top 10 active list as serikaktayev from Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 dropped out. akinking from Nigeria 🇳🇬 came back in the active list. Well done to these players and everyone else for making the ashanti room as dynamic as it has become. 👏👏👏
